OKConsent

Consent management for websites

OKConsent is a hosted service for cookie consent. A script shows the consent banner and holds services back until visitors have agreed. A scanner finds what a website uses and checks that blocking works. Legal texts are built from fixed clauses. It is hosted in the EU.

OKConsent is not open yet. For questions write to support@okconsent.com.

Visiting this page

When you open the page, our server processes your IP address, the time, the requested address and your browser identifier (user agent) so that the page is delivered and runs securely. We do not store this data: neither the server of this page nor the proxy in front of it keeps an access log. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (providing the page and keeping it secure). Without this processing the page cannot be shown.

The page is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (data centre in Nuremberg, Germany). Hetzner operates the server there.

No cookies, no analytics, no third-party content

The page sets no cookies and stores or reads nothing on your device. It does not measure your use and loads no fonts, scripts or images from other servers. No consent is therefore needed. Opening this page transfers no data to third countries (for email to us, see below).

Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your email address and your message to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the message concerns a contract or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering enquiries). We keep the message until your matter is settled, and afterwards only as long as statutory retention periods require.

Recipients: email sent to support@okconsent.com is forwarded by the free email forwarding of Namecheap, Inc. (USA) to our Google Workspace mailbox (Google; Google LLC, USA). Namecheap and Google process your email address and your message to deliver and store it. Data therefore reaches the USA. The safeguards we name: Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; with Namecheap, the standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) of its Data Processing Addendum apply. You can obtain a copy of the safeguards on request at support@okconsent.com.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing that we base on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). We take no automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Write to us at support@okconsent.com.
